| President | Asgeir Birkisson I’m Asgeir Birkisson, the president of the Lincoln MCR 2011 — 2012. As such, it is my job to oversee that everything in the MCR runs smoothly, although the fantastic committee we have this year greatly makes that easier. I chair both MCR general meetings and MCR Committee meetings. I also attend various meeting held by college to represent the interest of graduate students, so if you want to raise an issue with college, please get in touch.On the personal side, I first came to Lincoln in autumn 2008 to read for a M.Sc. degree. The following year, I transferred to read for a D.Phil. in Mathematics, which means I’m now entering my fourth year in total in Lincoln. I’ve loved absolutely every minute of my time here, and I hope the same will apply to you. Take my advice, try to be as active as possible in the MCR and participate in the various events we organise, and your effort will greatly be repaid by new friendships and good times. |

| Secretary | Alex Bostrom I make sure we follow the rules of the office: my official role is to minute all MCR meetings, publish the discussion for all members to see, and ensure we follow the constitution. Domestic issues such as accommodation, punts, lockers and newspapers are all under my jurisdiction. I am also in charge of keeping the MCR well stocked with tea and coffee. |
