The Middle Common Room (MCR)

The MCR is a suite of rooms on the first floor of Staircase 10 in Grove Quad (Lincoln main site). It is a friendly place to go and watch TV or films, read the newspapers or just catch up with friends who tend to be lounging about. There is a TV with DVD player and surround sound, and a kitchen area with free tea and coffee provided. The MCR subscribes to a couple of major newspapers, and university publications. The MCR is open 24 hours a day, by means of an access code to keep out pestilential undergraduates.

Bear Lane TV Room

The Bear Lane TV Room is the MCR's outpost on the Bear Lane site, where about half of Lincoln's graduate students live. It is located in the basement of Staircase 22. It has nice new leather sofas, a large TV with video and DVD player, and a games console with several games.

Lady Abraham Common Room, EPA Centre

The EPA Centre (where the remainder of Lincoln's graduates live) now also has common room facilities. The newly-opened Lady Abraham Common Room boasts a 50-inch TV and DVD player, sumptuous leather sofas, and a swanky coffee machine.

Codes for all three common rooms can be obtained by asking a current MCR member or emailing one of the committee.
